The mission of the Nursery Room at Grace United Church is to provide child care for children ages 0 to 5 years old so that their parents may comfortably and confidently attend worship on Sunday mornings. Two caring volunteers supervise the room each week from 10:20 a.m. to just after the worship service.
The Nursery Room is cheerful, bright and equipped with age-appropriate toys. The children are invited to participate in snack, stories and playtime in a child-centred, happy environment.
Parents may drop off their child(ren) at the Nursery before or anytime during the service. They are also welcome to stay with us to care for an infant or help an older child feel confident in new surroundings. In order to ensure the safety of all children in attendance, parents complete a registration form indicating medical and individual needs.
It is our goal that all young families have a positive experience and development new relationships at Grace United Church.
